Precise positioning and no splitting
Precise positioning of the screw is no problem at all thanks to its specially designed centring drilling tip. The drilling cutting edges guarantee perfect drilling performance, just like a Forstner bit. They also prevent tiresome splitting or rupturing of the wood.
Fast screwing
The gentle start of the thread after the drill tip enables rapid screw-in.
Simple, clean countersinking
The milled ribs facilitate clean and simple countersinking of the screw
AW drive for optimum locating and force transmission
Thanks to the AW drive, a tight fit of the bit in the screw drive is guaranteed. This prevents wobbling and sliding of the bit from the screw while screwing in.
ASSY 3.0 chipboard screws are optimised for use in wooden materials. When used in plastic anchors, a reduction of the load-bearing capacity is possible. Therefore, we recommend only using screws without optimised thread tips (drill tip, mating thread, ring thread, serrated edge, self-clearing groove etc.) in plastic anchors, e.g. ASSY D, hexagon hardwood screws DIN 571 or Wüpofast screws.

Attachment of skirting boards and glass strips.
Screw-in angle 0° to 90°. In coniferous wood or softwood materials, the joint is made without pre-drilling. To reduce the edge distances, the wood can be pre-drilled according to the screw's core. Hardwood must be pre-drilled in accordance with ETA-11/0190.
