Important information
The product is not suitable for structural bonding, e.g. structural facades (structural glazing). Given the variety of paints and other coatings, we recommend compatibility testing to rule out undesirable reactions. Given the wide variety of materials used, it is always necessary to carry out preliminary tests. Does not adhere to plastics such as PTFE, PE and PP
Limitations for use
Not suitable for use on surfaces such as e.g. marble, granite, quartzite, concrete, fibre cement and mortar. Acetic acid emitted by silicone during crosslinking may lead to corrosion of untreated metallic surfaces! Not
suitable for building aquariums
Cannot be painted over and is not suitable for underwater sealing. During curing, the sealant emits a small quantity of acetic acid, which may irritate the eyes and mucous membranes. Ventilate the working environment well. In case of accidental
contact with the eyes, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice
While the technical advice given is based on our experience and should be followed, it is purely indicative and must be confirmed through extensive practical tests. All surfaces of the joint should be perfectly clean and dry. Porous joint flanks should be pretreated with the appropriate undercoat Würth silicone primer. Do not alter the size of the joint. Avoid adhesion on three sides. Extrude the sealant without introducing air during filling of the joint. Smooth out within 5 minutes from application with Würth's special smoothing agent and spatula.
