- Good adhesion on most non-porous surfaces, excellent adhesion to glass, porcelain, glazed ceramic and excellent resistance to chemicals. Very good resistance to high and low temperatures, maintaining uniformity and permanent elasticity over time. Has excellent adhesion, even without primer. Exceptional resistance to ageing and very good resistance to UV rays and to weathering
It cannot be painted over. During curing, the sealant emits a small quantity of acetic acid, which may irritate the eyes and mucous membranes. Ventilate the working environment well. In the case of accidental contact with eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor
Sizing of the joint
The width of the joint is absolutely important and must be based on the size of the object to be sealed in such a way as to enable the sealant to give with movements without suffering gaps and cracks (maximum operating elongation)
Important information
The product is not suitable for structural bonding, e.g. structural facades (structural glazing). Given the variety of paints and other coatings, we recommend compatibility testing to rule out undesirable reactions. Given the wide variety of materials used, it is always necessary to carry out preliminary tests. Does not adhere to plastics such as PTFE, PE and PP

The speed of hardening facilitates the sealing of glass components in different glass applications: windows, glazing, glass brick, profiled glass, art objects, bathroom accessories. It is suitable for sealing hatches and deck equipment on boats, caravans and campers. It can also be used on electrical household appliances. It is not compatible with alkaline or porous surfaces such as marble, concrete, fibre cement or mortar
All surfaces of the joint should be perfectly clean and dry. The sides of porous joints should be pre-treated with the appropriate undercoat primer for silicone from Würth. Observe the size of the joint. Prevent adhesion on three sides. Extruding the sealant in generous quantities without introducing air during the filling of the joint. Smooth out within 5 minutes from application with the special smoothing agent and spatula.
Limitations for use
The product is not suitable for use on surfaces such as marble, granite, quartzite, concrete, fibre-cement and mortar. Acetic acid emitted by silicone during curing may lead to corrosion of untreated metallic surfaces. Not suitable for construction of aquariums
