Specific component for fixing on laminated wood min. class GL24h or equivalent

Fastening to the supporting structure using structural screws for wood

In the event of a fall, the anchoring device may deform without breaking, and can resist a nominal arrest load of 1200 daN

The anchoring device may be used for rescue operations only within its operational limits and if in perfect working order

Advantages of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel:

  • remains unchanged over time, being resistant to weather induced corrosion

  • because of its intrinsic characteristics, the material can dissipate more energy, in the event of a fall, compared to zinc-plated steel, thereby reducing the need for maintenance operations on the attachments and on the connection structure

Composition of the anchor line (please also refer to the diagrams in the information pages):

  • Single span (min. length 2 m and max. 15 m): 2 end points, 1 wall kit WLAKIT, 1 rope WLA

  • Multi-span (length over 15 m and max. 60 m): 2 end points, 1 intermediate point every 15 m max. for the full length of the line, 1 wall kit WLAKIT, 1 rope WLA
Notice

Suitable for max. 3 operators simultaneously, equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); in the event of a fall, individual PPE must not generate a load of more than 6 kN

Also suitable for use in clamping

Suitable for anchoring lines deviating from the horizontal by no more than 15°

BIFASICO®patent:

The components are equipped with a patented internal device (BIFASICO®) that allows for its rigid behaviour during the use and clamping phase, while also allowing for plasticising and the absorption of energy during the fall arrest phase

Drop data:

Drop values (arrow, pull and pull angle) vary depending on anchor point and anchor line length. Drop values can be requested at the email address: linea.vita@wuerth.it

Anchorage to the load-bearing structure:

The surface must be assessed and the anchor must be dimensioned by an authorised designer. The suitability of the surface for absorbing the stress exerted by the falling operator must always be tested (see standard 11560)

Certifications:

The anchor line has undergone the testing required by the standard UNI EN 11578:2015 and complies with type C. It is suitable for use by a maximum of three operators simultaneously, connected via the appropriate PPE. The certification will no longer be valid if the product is disassembled, altered, modified or improperly installed. Certifications can be downloaded from: www.wuerth.it/lineavita

Periodic inspection:

The fall protection system is subject to a mandatory periodic inspection at an interval not exceeding 2 years for checks relating to the anchorage system and not exceeding 4 years for checks relating to the support structure and the anchors, as provided for in UNI 11578:2015

Please refer to the information pages, the installation and operation manual and the handbook for the system supplied with the products. These documents can be downloaded from the website: www.wuerth.it/lineavita
