Advantages of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel:
- remains unaltered over time, as it is resistant to corrosion from exposure to atmospheric agents
- because of its intrinsic characteristics, the material can dissipate more energy in the event of a fall than zinc-plated steel, thereby reducing the need for maintenance on the attachments and on the connection structure
Art. 5937999985, WCAEP - External angle for through cable
Art. 5937999986, WCAIP - Internal angle for through cable
Art. 5937999987, WCAIR - Internal angle for cable exits
Art. 5937999988, WCAER - External angle for cable exits
Suitable for anchoring lines that deviate from the horizontal by no more than 15° for anchoring systems that can be used in restraint and fall arrest
Warranty:
10 years for materials (from the date of purchase)
Drop data:
Drop values (arrow, pull and pull angle) vary depending on anchor point and anchor line length. Drop values can be requested at the email address: linea.vita@wuerth.it
Anchorage to the load-bearing structure:
The surface must be assessed and the anchor must be sized by a qualified technician. The suitability of the support for absorbing the stress deriving from the operator's fall must always be tested (see standard UNI 11560:2022)
Certifications:
The anchor line has undergone the testing required by the standard UNI 11578:2015 and complies with type C. It is suitable for use by a maximum of three operators connected via the appropriate PPE. The certification will no longer be valid if the product is disassembled, altered, modified or improperly installed. Certifications can be downloaded from the website: www.wuerth.it/progettisti/prodotti/linea-vita/
Regular inspection:
The anchoring system is subject to regular mandatory inspection at intervals of no more than 2 years, as required by Point 9.2.3. of standard UNI 11560:2022. The regular inspections must be performed by the intermediate installer and/or qualified technician, always assuming liability for the activity undertaken. The checks to be performed refer to table 1, 2 and 3 of UNI 11560:2022
Further information:
Please refer to the information pages, the installation and operation manual and the handbook for the system supplied with the products. These documents can be downloaded from the website: www.wuerth.it/progettisti/prodotti/linea-vita/
Permanent external/internal angled anchoring devices for flexible anchoring lines with maximum span of 15 m, minimum span of 2 m and maximum recommended section of 60 m
Attachments:
- WCAEP: 4 threaded bars STAINLESS STEEL A2 M12 or equivalent (Art. 0954 12)
- WCAIP: 4 threaded bars STAINLESS STEEL A2 M16 or equivalent (Art. 0954 16)
- WCAIR: 4 threaded bars STAINLESS STEEL A2 M16 or equivalent (Art. 0954 16)
- WCAER: 2 threaded bars STAINLESS STEEL A2 M16 or equivalent (Art. 0954 12)
A qualified technician must check the fastening of the devices using calculations or tests. The anchoring devices have undergone tests on base materials without the presence of cooperating elements. In particular, tests were carried out on high-rigidity base materials (steel structural elements). It is the designer's responsibility to check that the installation conditions are appropriate for the types of base material indicated above
Directions and notes for use:
The multi-span section enables the use of just one angular device, equipped with a pulley (WCAEP or WCAIP), on an end span and must be equipped with a tension reducer (WLMN) on one of the two ends
Assembling the line on devices with a pulley and restarting the line
The anchoring line must be attached to the tension reducers (WKLN) using the turnbuckle fork and connected to end devices, if the ends are equipped with a pulley (WCAEP and WCAIP), with a cable passing inside the pulley. For the entry and exit of the line (WCAIR and WCAER), the part that detaches from the ring bolt must be fastened using the shackle, whose pin must be inserted into the line splice
