Classification according to UNI 11470-2015: class A
Recommended for waterproofing and protecting from the wind, thermal insulation covering on ventilated facades with intermittent outer covering (slats, groynes, etc.). The open spaces, through which UV rays can penetrate, must be no greater than 30 mm and represent no more than 30% of the total surface of the covering
Lay on the façade (cold side) in direct contact with thermal insulation covering, behind the finish covering. Follow the installation instructions enclosed with the product carefully (see back page)
The Wütop® FACCIATA 210 2SK breathable sheeting is suitable for all rear-ventilated façade constructions, with continuous or discontinuous external coating. Open spaces between the façade elements can only by 30 mm max. The area made up of open spaces must not exceed 30% of the entire surface area. The product must be laid directly on the thermal insulation covering. Install horizontally to the foundations; the sheeting must be stapled to the substructure, corresponding with the areas of overlap between the sheets. Start laying from one side and, keeping the sheeting under slight tension to prevent folds, secure it gradually to the substructure. Overlap the various sheets between by a minimum of 10 cm (see marking on the edges) and, after removing the protective film from the integrated adhesive tape, hermetically seal the overlaps, pressing firmly on the entire join. The number of overlaps must be kept to the minimum possible, making full use of the entire length of the roll. Any vertical joins must only be performed in line with the counter-battens, and must be sealed with tape Eurosol® MAX adhesive tape. Finish attaching with the counter-battens; these will create the ventilation chamber. If possible, avoid blockages that could hinder the free drainage of water. The application of Eurosol® nail hole sealing tape underneath each counter-batten is recommended in order to ensure that the hermetic seal remains intact, even at the fixing points. Damage such as cuts or cracks must be repaired by using pieces of the same fabric, glued and sealed with Eurasol® MAX adhesive tape. Smaller damaged areas can be repaired directly, using the same tape. When laying the sheeting, make sure the fabric is in perfect condition and that no damage of any kind (cuts, abrasions, etc.) is present. The façade covering must be laid within three months after the laying of the sheeting, to prevent it from being damaged by UV rays
