Turnbuckles compliant with DIN 1478 must be assembled with the ends welded in accordance with DIN 34828 with the same material (A4-50). In this case,
the load-carrying capacity of the turnbuckles is always greater than that of the welded ends. When assembled with connecting pieces made of other materials, particularly materials with a higher tensile strength, the load-bearing capacity of the turnbuckles must be checked separately.
