  • The material is modified for use in 3D printers and impresses due to the fibre addition with minimal warping tendency during printing

  • The acid resistance and residual elasticity make it ideal for applications where flexibility in use and contact with corrosive media can play a role

  • Due to the material, its strength is significantly lower than with polyamides

  • Corresponding dimensioning with more material at critical points is therefore recommended for the components; the same applies in general to the wall thicknesses with this material

Advantages

  • Modified polypropylene with 25 % glass fibre content

  • No water absorption

  • High acid resistance
    Low warping

  • Excellent adhesion to printbed

  • High elasticity

Application instructions

  • The filament can be printed easily at approx. 230 °C and does not absorb water

  • The nozzle should be 0.4 mm or larger, as otherwise it could become clogged by the fibres

  • The use of abrasion-resistant nozzles is recommended

  • In contrast to water-absorbing materials such as PA or PC, open storage of the spools is possible with PP
Notice

The use of abrasion-resistant nozzles is strongly recommended. The filament is not hygroscopic and can be stored or printed without special requirements.
