Extinguishing spray does not require maintenance. The spray cans are designed for single use only in terms of function and their contents and come with a 3 year maintenance-free shelf life and functional reliability. Fully empty cans can be disposed of via the recycling within the dual system. Other valid recycling specifications in other countries must be observed. Discard and replace after use, if the seal is broken or the use-by date has been reached.

Solid-substance fires and liquid fires (except grease and polar solvents such as alcohol, ketones) can be extinguished with the vehicle fire extinguishing spray. The impregnating effect of the film-forming substance can be used as heat protection. Hot surfaces can be brought down in temperature through the cooling effect. Due to the large temperature range, the spray can be easily stored in passenger cars, commercial vehicles, caravans, garages etc. Being a practically sized spray can allows for space-saving storage in the glove compartment, in cup holders or under the driver's seat or in the luggage compartment using the in-vehicle bracket. In garages, the wall bracket allows for accessible placement in prominent positions, such as close to a first aid kit.
- Before use, remove seal tape and/or twist cap off immediately.
- Actuate spray head and direct the spray jet towards the fire source, spraying directly at it at intervals. The specific spray jet or spray cone supports the extinguishing action very effectively.
- An extinguishing direction from bottom to top and safety clearance of at least 1 m must be observed.
