Specific sealant for sealing joints between indoor and outdoor construction elements. Ideal for sealing joints between walls and window frames, on prefabricated elements and panels in the building sector, wood and metal and for attaching Flexband tapes. Suitable for a wide range of materials such as metal, aluminium, painted surfaces, rigid PVC, glass, glazed ceramic, wood, concrete, brickwork, natural stone and polystyrene
The surface must be firm, clean and free from oil, grease and bitumen. Do not alter the size of the joint, and make sure to plug expansion joints with backfill material. Avoid anchoring on three sides. Pre-treat porous surfaces, such as plaster, with primer. Cover surfaces adjacent to the joint with masking tape and squeeze the product out of the cartridge, injecting it into the joint without trapping air bubbles. Smooth out the sealant, if necessary, with a spatula and special smoothing agent art. 08933 before a film forms. Remove the masking tape before the product dries.
