Uniform and permanent elasticity over time
- Uniform and permanent elasticity over time
- Does not degrade in contact with common sanitary cleaning agents
- Stable on contact with boiling water
- Excellent resistance to water and to atmospheric agents
Sizing of the joint:
The size of the joint is extremely important and must be designed on the basis of the dimensions of the object to be sealed so that the sealant can follow the movements without breaking and separating (maximum operating length)
Important information:
The product is not suitable for structural bonding, e.g. structural facades (structural glazing). Given the variety of paints and other coatings, we recommend compatibility testing to rule out undesirable reactions. Given the wide variety of materials used, it is always necessary to carry out preliminary tests. Does not adhere to plastics such as PTFE, PE and PP)
Restrictions on use
- Acetic acid emitted by the silicone during the crosslinking may lead to corrosion of untreated metal surfaces
- Not suitable for aquariums
- Tends to yellow in contact with UV rays
- Can stain surfaces of natural stone or marble
Cannot be painted over. During curing, the sealant emits a small quantity of acetic acid, which may irritate the eyes and mucous membranes. Ventilate the working environment well. In the event of accidental contact with eyes, wash
thoroughly with clean water and consult your doctor
While the technical advice given is based on our experience and should be followed, it is purely indicative and must be confirmed through extensive practical tests.
