Bonding plastic laminates, steel sheets, stainless steel, brushed steel, particle board, plywood and medium density wood
The surfaces to be bonded, in particular those made of stainless steel and aluminium, should be cleaned, degreased and dried. Apply a thin layer of adhesive on both surfaces to be bonded. Wait for about 20 minutes* (depending on humidity and ambient temperature) for the solvents to evaporate and the surfaces to dry. Finally join the pieces and press evenly at maximum pressure allowed by the mechanical strength of the materials
For bonding between chipboard and stainless steel or aluminium, in addition to perfectly clean surfaces, it is important to apply the product in the following way:
- Apply a first coat of the product on the chipboard and leave to dry for approximately 20 minutes*
- Once the first layer has completely dried, apply a second coat of the product to the chipboard and the stainless steel or aluminium surface and let it dry for another 20 minutes*
- Then press together evenly the two parts that are to be joined, applying the maximum pressure allowed by the mechanical resistance of the materials
