* Check that the surface of the adhesive is an even film without porosity that is no longer sticky to the touch
While the technical advice given is based on our experience and should be followed, it is purely indicative and must be confirmed through extensive practical tests. This does not relieve the purchaser of their responsibility to personally test our products to see whether they are suitable for the intended use.
Bonding plastic laminates, steel sheets, stainless steel, brushed steel, particle board, plywood and medium density wood
The surfaces to be bonded, in particular those made of stainless steel and aluminium, should be cleaned, degreased and dried
Apply an even layer of adhesive to both of the surfaces to be bonded. Wait for about 20 minutes* (according to the ambient temperature and humidity) in order to enable evaporation of the solvents. Finally, join the pieces and apply the maximum pressure allowed for by the mechanical strength of the materials
When bonding surfaces of more than 1 m2, take particular care to apply the product evenly. For bonding on curved substrates, it is necessary to perform practical tests. For bonding between chipboard and stainless steel or aluminium, in addition to perfect cleaning of the surfaces, it is important to apply the product in the following way:
- Apply a first coat of the product on the chipboard and leave to dry for approximately 20 minutes*
- Once the first layer has completely dried, apply another coat of the product to the chipboard and the stainless steel or aluminium surface, then leave to dry for another 20 minutes*
- Now join the two elements evenly and press them together, applying the maximum force allowed by the mechanical strength of the materials
