Fastgrip is an aqueous dispersion of copolymers with anti-corrosion agents, resistant to saponification and degrading by water, and promotes adhesion
Greater adherence to the surface
- achieves particularly adhesive compounds
- suitable even on smooth surfaces or surfaces that are not very porous
- increases the adhesion of cement mortars
Promotes adhesion
- with cement mortar, it is suitable for separation casting or as a passivating agent for reinforcing rods
- when added to water, increases the adhesion and waterproof properties of the product
Passivating agent of ferrous metals
- Protects exposed rods from corrosion that would undermine the integrity of the structure
- Do not use in combination with rust converters
Fastgrip must not be used as a pure primer or adhesion promoter. Before application, a brushable grout should be prepared
by mixing it with cement or fixing mortar. Concrete bonding should be carried out fresh on fresh, which is why working at high temperatures is strongly discouraged because they will accelerate drying and may compromise the effectiveness of adhesion between materials
While the technical advice given is based on our experience and should be followed, it is purely indicative and must be confirmed through extensive practical tests. This does not relieve the purchaser of their responsibility to personally test our products to see whether they are suitable for the intended use
Prepared with cement mortar, it promotes adhesion of separation casting or passivating agent of reinforcing rods. When added to water mixed with cement, offsets shrinkage and increases the adhesion and waterproof properties of the product
To improve the adherence of repair mortars and to bond concrete layers. As a passivating agent for ferrous metals: Use a brush to apply to ferrous metals that are to be passivated with Fastgrip grout and cement, immediately after cleaning to bare metal
Preparing the surface:
The surface to be treated must be firm and clean; carefully remove all loose parts, stains, oily residues, release agents, rust, lime, dust and all impurities in general. Any exposed ferrous metals should be cleaned to bare metal
Preparing the mixture:
To improve the adherence of repair mortars and to bond concrete layers, dilute Fastgrip in water at a ratio of 1:1. Then add cement until a smooth and homogeneous cement grout that can be easily applied with a brush is obtained. To passivate reinforcement bars, mix Fastgrip with cement at an indicative ratio of 1:2 (one part Fastgrip to two parts cement) until a grout with a consistency suitable for applying with a brush is obtained
