Reduces the water/cement ratio
Reduction of the water/cement ratio combined with addition of W500 additive yields concretes with high mechanical strength and greater waterproof properties
Improves the technical properties of concrete
- Gives the concrete better resistance to abrasion, corrosive agents and stresses due to movement of structures
- Limits shrinkage of concrete and the formation of micro-cracks
Improves the appearance of products
Indicated to create items with good frontal appearance
Workability over time
The use of W500 additive in concrete allows maintaining workability of the mix for a period that varies from 1 to 2 hours (at 20°C) depending on the type and amount of cement, the amount of the additive used and the ambient temperature. The loss of workability is gradual
Comply with the use conditions and mixtures specified. If exposed to temperatures below +5°C, it must be warmed up and stirred before use. During handling and application of the product, use suitable protective clothing
The technical advice given, while based on our best experience, should be considered, in any event, purely as guidance and should be confirmed by comprehensive practical tests. Indicated for concrete used in construction of pillars, beams, slabs, basins, canals, thin structures, industrial floors, airports, etc.
The mix of additive is 0.8 – 1.5 kg for every 100 kg of cement. Do not add W500 additive to aggregates or cement if not previously wet with 80% of the mixing water
