- Low viscosity, transparent, solvent-free liquid product
- Can be applied to a variety of indoor and outdoor substrates to improve slip resistance in wet and dry conditions
- Shiny, wet appearance after drying
- UV-resistant, no protective topcoats required
Do not apply GRIP ON if there is a risk of rain, dew and fog. Do not apply to wet surfaces and avoid laying during the hottest hours of the day or on overheated surfaces. When used indoors, ensure adequate ventilation during the application and drying phase. Avoid product accumulation, paying special attention to the tile joints. Failure to do so may result in damage or dissolution of the non-slip film. If the substrate is pre-washed with acidic or alkaline solutions, take care that residues are removed by sufficiently rinsing with water. Before applying GRIP ON, we recommend that you always perform a patch test on the surface to assess the degree of absorption, adhesion and aesthetic performance of the product.
Suitable for the non-slip treatment of tiled patios, stairs, non-navigable ramps, tiled showers or with a ceramic shower tray and particularly smooth cement-based surfaces. Not suitable for low-absorbent marble surfaces.
Preparation of substrate: The substrates to be treated must be clean, dry, free of grease and dust, and free of dissolving substances. In addition, newly produced cement-based surfaces must be cured perfectly. Tiled and ceramic surfaces must be cleaned and checked beforehand; there must not be any loose tiles and the joints must be in good condition. Any damaged areas must be repaired before applying the product.
Application: Mix before use until the product is homogeneous. Apply the product in a single layer using a brush or short-pile roller, assuming a maximum consumption of 50 g/m². For particularly absorbent surfaces, a second coat may be needed. Wait a maximum of 24 hours between applying the two coats. GRIP ON can be walked on after approx. 24 hours. However, it is recommended that you wait approx. 7 days (23°C; 50% RH) before commissioning the treated surface.
