- A filled product can have a density of 1.30 g/cm3
- A large amount of glue is applied, so as a filled product for manufacturing, consumption is around 25% higher
- In a canister, a filled product occupies 70–75% of the volume, while an unfilled product occupies 90–95%
- The colour of the glue is greyish or yellowish in filled products
- Filled products tend to leave a grey line of glue
- The adhesive power of the D2 universal product is 30–40% higher than filled products

The glue should only be applied to one side
Mix well before each application. Apply glue evenly with a glue roller, brush, dispenser, stainless-steel or plastic serrated trowel or a pneumatic spreading tool. Avoid contact with ferrous materials, which may cause bluish discolorations when in contact with the tannin of the wood. The hardening time and setting speed are affected by the temperature, moisture and porosity of the material and the amount of product used. For the best results, use under the following conditions: optimal temperature of the product, surfaces and room: 18–20°C. Wood moisture: 8–12%. Fresh product residue can be removed with water; hardened glue can be removed with paint thinner, acetone or paint cleaner
Open time:
6–8 minutes on average. This is the maximum amount of time that should pass between applying and setting with both the room and wood temperature at 20°C, application of 150 g/m2, air humidity of 50% and wood moisture of 10%
The open time is reduced if:
- Less than 150 g/m2 is applied
- The temperature is above 20°C
- Air humidity is lower than 50%
- Wood moisture is lower than 10%
- The gluing takes place in areas with air currents, especially hot air
The open time is increased if:
- The temperature is below 20°C
- Air humidity is above 50%
- Wood moisture is above 10%
Setting time:
- medium-fast, 10–15 minutes. This is the length of time for which the product should be allowed to set with both the room and wood temperature at 20°C, application of 150 g/m2, air humidity of 50% and wood moisture of 10%
- It is advisable to wait at least 24 hours before the next application
- Due to its unique structure, sometimes the adhesive line has dried even though the drops are still moist
The setting time is reduced if:
- Less than 150 g/m2 is applied
- The temperature is above 20°C
- Air humidity is lower than 50%
- Wood moisture is lower than 10%
The setting time is increased if:
- More than 150 g/m2 is applied
- The temperature is below 20°C

Viscosity:
- Not to be confused with density, it is the product's resistance to flow
- 13,500 ± 1500 mPa, on average
