Blind rivet nuts enables screw connections to be used in relatively thin-walled structural elements.
Application area
- For screwing on number plate frames in the automotive industry
- Plastic PA-GFRP
- Plasterboard D = 9 mm
- Chipboard D = 9.5 mm
- Cement fibreboard D = 4.8 mm
Instructions
- Drill specified hole size into the structural element
- Insert blind rivet into the structural element
- Screw M-screw into the inserted blind rivet through the part to be fixed using a screwdriver
- The screwing action pushes the blind rivets together, giving the part to be fixed a mechanical hold
