The reliable, easy-to-install sealing tape is used for:
- Airtight and water-vapour-tight inner window joints.
- Completely plastered indoor reveals in old buildings and prefabricated buildings.
1. Clean substrate of oil, grease and any loose material.
2. A butyl primer should be used on highly absorbent mineral surfaces.
3. Remove the protective film from the butyl strip and apply it to the masonry so that the butyl tape is positioned behind the inner surface of the window; firmly press using a press-on roller.
4. Fill the foam joint with PURLOGIC Top or PURLOGIC Flex.
5. Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive strip and attach it to the window frame so that it sticks out between 10 and 15 mm; firmly press using a press-on roller.
6. The sealing tape can be covered with a joint cover.
7. The butyl strip and the Flexband adhesive, Flexband adhesive Plus or EPDM sealing-tape adhesive must not come into contact with each other.
