The spacer strip can be used in two main ways, depending on the type of substrate and the configuration of the reinforcement bars:
Use on hard floors (e.g. floor slabs, plinths, industrial floors)
Position the strip directly on the ground beneath the lower reinforcement bars in the area where the concrete will be poured. This ensures proper coverage and stability during the concrete pouring phase
Use on insulating panels or soft substrates
In this case, the strip can be inverted and installed with the legs pointing upwards. This ensures effective spacing of the reinforcement bars even for compressible or non-structural materials
