This spacer allows decking boards of all dimensions and made from all types of highly stable wood or WPC to be laid simply, quickly and perfectly with a distance of 5 mm between the joints.

The spacer is placed between two grooved wooden boards and screwed to a stainless steel plate with no visible screws.

In addition, the 9 mm ventilation gap between the decking boards and the substructure prevents waterlogging (structural wood protection). This ensures that any waterlogging dries out.

Individual boards can also be replaced at any time.

  • Spacers: made from fibre-reinforced and weatherproof PA 66 plastic, black

  • Mounting plate: made from A2 stainless steel (1.4301), black

  • Screw: 4.2 x 43 mm, TX15 with drill tip made from hardened stainless steel (1.4006), black

  • Suitable for installing on wood or aluminium substructures (aluminium up to approx. 2 mm thick)
Notice
  • The suitability of the wood type must be determined by the manufacturer/wood supplier if necessary. Use is not recommended for wood with a high bulk density and/or high swelling and shrinkage characteristics

  • This applies in particular to the Cumarú, Massaranduba and Robinia (false acacia) wood types

  • Screw-in torque for wood substructure approx. 4 Nm

  • For aluminium substructure approx. 1-3 Nm depending on thickness

  • We recommend starting with the lowest setting on the cordless driver

  • When tightening the screw, positive locking rather than non-positive locking must be ensured

  • Processing recommendations of the manufacturer of the boards, in particular regarding spacings and cross bracing, must be observed

  • Provide cross bracing for aluminium substructures
