- Accessories to be used in combination with the WAPNL anchoring point and with the WRS structural reinforcement in the case of coverings made of hollow bricks or tiles
- It accompanies the WRS structural reinforcement in the passage of the covering layers, allowing the WAPNL anchor point to be stiffened and stabilised
- Can be attached to the base material directly using the holes and slots, or connected to the reinforcing rods
- If there is an outlet in the ridge area, it can be bent in the middle to adopt the incline of the strata
Anchorage to the load-bearing structure:
The surface must be assessed and the anchor must be sized by a qualified technician. The suitability of the surface for absorbing the stress exerted by the falling operator must always be tested (see standard UNI 11560:2022)
Certifications:
The WBAPNL surface for coverings made of hollow bricks or tiles has been subjected, in combination with the WAPNL type A anchoring device as per UNI 11578:2015, to tests of equivalent static resistance. The ideal number of operators for using the device is stated in the catalogue. The certification will no longer be valid if the product is disassembled, altered, modified or improperly installed. Certifications can be downloaded from the website: www.wuerth.it/progettisti/prodotti/linea-vita/
Regular inspection:
The anchoring system is subject to regular mandatory inspection at intervals of no more than 2 years, as required by Point 9.2.3. of standard UNI 11560:2022. The regular inspections must be performed by the intermediate installer and/or qualified technician, always assuming liability for the activity undertaken. The checks to be performed refer to the table 1, 2 and 3 of UNI 11560:2022
Further information:
Please refer to the information pages, the installation and operation manual and the handbook for the system supplied with the products. These documents can be downloaded from the website: www.wuerth.it/progettisti/prodotti/linea-vita/
Warranty:
10 years for materials (from the date of purchase)
Concrete: attachment using a compound anchor
Requirements for the concrete:
- min. class C20/25
- min. thickness 140 mm, min. width 200 mm
Mounting parts:
Compound anchor WIT-VM 250, 4x M12 threaded rods in A2 stainless steel, class 70 (to be cut), 4x M12 hex nuts in A2 stainless steel, 4x M12 flat washers in A2 stainless steel or (according to ETA), 4x M12 pre-cut or metric threaded rods in A4 stainless steel, 4x M12 hex nuts in A4 stainless steel, 4x M12 washers in A4 stainless steel
The mounting instructions are based on criteria similar to those used for the certification testing operations on structural steel parts, and should not replace structural load testing, which must be carried out by an authorised designer. It is the responsibility of the designer to ensure that the installation conditions are appropriate for the types of base material indicated above
