Operating principle
- thanks to its unique composition, characterised by using a range of different materials together, this insulation material uses heat transfer methods (radiation, conduction, convection, change state) and is particularly effective in reflecting radiated heat
- Winter → creates a barrier against the cold outside air and returns the heat produced inside the home
- Summer → pushes the heat radiated from the roof back outside and keeps the interior cool
Allows insulation of fixtures using much thinner materials than in conventional insulation
Optimal solution for renovations: Saves walkable surface space in the event of internal insulation
Suitable for all surfaces and can take on any shape
Quick and easy to install
Packaged in lightweight and easy-to-handle rolls
Does not contain irritating fibres or toxic components, so no special precautions are required when laying
Insulation lasts over time: The material does not change and does not attract rodents
Carefully follow the instructions in the installation guide
Users are advised to seal overlaps with reinforced aluminium adhesive tape (100 mm)
In the event of bad weather during installation, protect the insulation with tarpaulins
Store the product in its original packaging, in a dry place away from sunlight
Material type not subject to CE marking

Thermal insulation of: wooden or tile roofs, walls and perimeter walls, attics
Other uses: prefabricated houses, housing units, warehouses, garages, etc.
The 5 golden rules for laying:
- 1. Leave an air pocket on both sides of the insulation, as follows:
a) Internal laying: (beginning from the support) 20 mm air pocket - Wütop Multitermico - 20 mm air pocket - interior finish b) Outdoor laying: (beginning from the support) 20 mm air pocket - Wütop Multitermico - 40 mm ventilated air pocket - covering or exterior finish
- 2. Stretch the insulation fully and fix it around the entire perimeter, at least every 50 mm, over a wooden support (beam, cross-beam, slat, etc.) using galvanized or stainless-steel staples (length min. 14 mm)
- 3. Carry out the joins, overlapping the sheeting by 50 - 100 mm and fixing every 50 mm to a wooden support
- 4. Seal the joins with the special aluminium-backed adhesive tape and apply a counter-batten to complete the seal. CAUTION! Sealing the overlaps with adhesive tape is essential for the correct performance of the products, and this must be carried out to a professional standard. Users are advised to use the same adhesive tape to seal the seams present on the Wütop Multitermico in order to ensure the water tightness and the correct function of the vapour barrier
- 5. Leave a border of 100 mm of insulation around the entire perimeter of the area to be insulated, then fold it back on itself and secure with a counter-batten (secured with screws or nails) to create a closed air chamber and prevent the passage of air between the layers of insulation
