Preblended mortar, rapid curing, with compensated shrinkage. High-quality finish, good thixotropy and increased adhesion. Mixed with water, generates a product of excellent workability, which makes it easy to apply for localised repair in thickness up to 3/4 cm
Ideal for restoration work
- high workability and rapid setting
- reinforced with fibres
- high mechanical strength
- elastic modulus ideal for restoration
- subsequent work can be carried out within short waiting times
- ideal for small repairs
High adhesion
- can be used in different fields of application, vertically and horizontally
- high thixotropy and compensated shrinkage
- facilitates application without formwork and without cracking problems
- ready-mixed, avoids preparation errors
- thermal expansion similar to concrete
Concrete surfaces
- for high speed restoration of concrete structures such as: reconstruction of iron covering, levelling and grouting
- for restoration of gravel pockets, cracks, etc.
- suitable for grouting, repair of edges, balconies, etc.
- for attachment of foundation bolts, hooks, rods, etc.
Mix with cold water, or in winter, water at about 20°C. Never mix with other binders such as cement, lime, chalk, aggregates, additives etc. Do not add water when the product has already started setting. Do not use for continuous and expanded connections, such as thick plaster and floor slabs or on smooth surfaces. In the case of hot or windy environmental conditions, protect and/or wet the surface, in order to prevent drying out too quickly. Do not expose the material to the sun in hot weather
The technical advice given, while based on our best experience, should in any event be considered purely as guidance and should be confirmed by comprehensive practical tests. The purchaser is in any event responsible for personally testing our products to ensure their suitable for the planned use
Speedcem is particularly suitable for high speed restoration such as: corners and edges of concrete, reconstruction of iron covering, levelling and grouting, restoration of gravel pockets, cracks, balconies, cornices, etc.
Wet the underlying surface until saturated and let the excess water evaporate or remove it with a sponge. Apply the product with a spatula or trowel for filling and restoration. Do not use the product after it has already started to set
Preparation of surfaces:
The surface to be covered must be solid and clean; carefully remove all loose parts, stains, oily residues, release agents, rust, lime, dust and all impurities in general. Any detected iron substances must be cleaned and passivated with cement grout and Fastgrip. Wet the underlying surface until saturated while avoiding water veils
Preparation of the product:
Add speedcem to 18% of previously prepared clean water (4.5 litres per bag to 25 kg), and mix in mixer or with a drill at low speed for up to 3 minutes. The product must be uniform and free of lumps. Prepare only the quantity of product that can be applied within 15 minutes; higher temperatures reduce workability time, while lower temperatures increase it
