Spot repairs, accident repairs, vehicle body repairs, paint work.
The surface must be free of grease and dust, dry and completely de-rusted.
Pre-treat surfaces accordingly
- Steel (cleaned and sanded)
- Zinc plated steel (hot-dip galvanised, in-line galvanised and galvanised, cleaned and sanded)
- Aluminium, soft aluminium (cleaned and sanded)
- Polyester surfaces (cleaned and sanded)
- Old or factory paints (cleaned and sanded)
- Various plastics: As there is such a large number of different types of plastic available on the market, compatibility with the base material must be checked in advance in each case
Application
- Before use, thoroughly shake the can for 2 min from when the mixing balls are audible
- Apply universal primer filler in cross coats with a spraying distance of 10 to 15 cm
- Dry layer thickness up to 150 μm. (approx. 2-3 spray passes)/35 µm per spray pass
- Allow an interval of approx. 5 minutes between the spray passes for intermediate airing until a matt finish is achieved.
- Optimal finish at 18 to 25 °C and a relative humidity of 40-60 %
- Turn the can upside down after use and spray until the valve is empty
Drying
- Degree of dryness 1, dust dry: 2-5 min
- Degree of dryness 3, touch dry: 5-10 min
- Can be sanded: 45 min
- IR: 5-8 min
Further processing
Can be painted over with 1C solvent- or water-based coatings, 1C or 2C topcoats. Always check for compatibility beforehand.
Sanding
- For dry sanding with a power tool, using soft discs with foam backing P 360 - P 500 or mesh sanding discs is recommended
- Wet cutting: P 500 - P 800
- Sanding by hand with sandpaper: P 500 - P 800
