- Vapour-control screen to prevent condensation inside the insulating material
- Three-layer composition with a polypropylene non-woven fabric base
- Stops air escaping from the inside to prevent heat loss and help save energy
- Also available in a 2SK version, with double-sided adhesive tape built into the overlap area to ensure a perfect seal
- The ROOF VAPO SL 170 vapour retarder sheeting must be laid under the thermal insulation covering, always on the warm side (inside) of the roof, and must lie across or parallel to the beams. When laying in parallel, the joins between the sheets must always correspond with a beam or a solid support
- Fix the sheeting in place with staples or nails, overlapping each by at least 10 cm and sealing overlaps with adhesive tape from the Eurasol® range: Eurasol®, art. 0992700050, Eurasol® P, art. 0992810060 etc.
- Where the vapour retarder meets the masonry, leave a strip of 20 cm and glue using CONNECT ADHESIVE ALL-IN-ONE, art. 0893700111
- Where there are openings or gaps in the roof (chimneys, skylights etc.), cut the sheeting and position it in such a way as to prevent air from escaping. Surround the element with the sheeting and raise it at the sides. Then glue and seal the joins with adhesive tape from the Eurasol® range (see above) to restore the hermetic seal
- When laying the sheeting, carefully check that it is in perfect condition and that there is no damage of any kind (cuts, abrasions etc.)
- Insulation must be installed within a maximum of 3 months of the sheeting being laid
