The anchoring device may be used for rescue operations only within its operational limits and if in perfect working order
Advantages of A2 (AISI 304) stainless steel:
- remains unchanged over time, being resistant to weather induced corrosion
- because of its intrinsic characteristics, the material can dissipate more energy, in the event of a fall, compared to zinc-plated steel, thereby reducing the need for maintenance operations on the attachments and on the connection structure
Suitable for 1 operator equipped with appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), which in the event of a fall, must not generate a load of more than 6 kN
Also suitable for use in restraining operations
Not suitable for creating anchor lines
The deflection and displacement values refer to the load condition relative to the fall arrest of the first user
Warranty:
10 years for materials (from the date of purchase)
Anchorage to the load-bearing structure:
The support must be assessed and the anchor must be sized by a qualified technician. The suitability of the support for absorbing the stress exerted by the falling operator must always be tested (see standard UNI 11560:2022)
Certifications:
The anchoring device has undergone the tests required by standard UNI 11578:2015 and is compliant with type A. The ideal number of operators for using this device is stated in the catalogue. The certification will no longer be valid if the product is disassembled, altered, modified or improperly installed. Periodic inspection:
The anchoring system is subject to regular mandatory inspection at intervals of no more than 2 years, as required by Point 9.2.3. of standard UNI 11560:2022. The regular inspections must be performed by the intermediate installer and/or qualified technician, always assuming liability for the activity undertaken. The checks to be performed refer to the table 1, 2 and 3 of UNI 11560:2022

Requirements of the support structure:
- min. class C20/25
- Min. thickness 120 mm, min. width with holes mounted horizontally 100 mm, 150 mm if mounted vertically
Mounting parts:
- Compound anchor WIT-VM 250
- 2x M10 A2 stainless steel threaded rods (to be cut)
- 2x M10 A2 stainless steel hexagon nuts
- 2x M10 A2 stainless steel flat washers
- or (according to ETA) 2 M10 threaded rods in pre-cut or metric A4 stainless steel
- 2x M10 A4 stainless steel hexagon nuts
- 2x M10 stainless steel washers
Steel - fixing by threaded rod
Requirements for the steel:
• min. thickness 5 mm, min. width 80 mm
Mounting parts:
- 2x M10 threaded rod cl. 70
- 2x M10 self-locking hexagon nuts

- All hardware must be A2 stainless steel
The mounting instructions are based on criteria similar to those used for the certification testing operations on structural steel parts, and should not replace structural testing, which must be carried out by an authorised designer. It is the responsibility of the designer to ensure that the installation conditions are appropriate for the type of base material indicated above
