- Characterised by excellent resistance to environmental and weather effects as well as a high resistance to yellowing
- Long-lasting gloss
- Easy to use and ideal for partial automotive painting
- After drying for 15 minutes at 60 °C or alternatively for 25 minutes at 40 °C, the painted parts can be polished once cooled
Instructions
- Mixing ratio by volume: 2 parts coat to 1 part hardener
- Pot life at 20 °C: 80 min
- Spraying viscosity, 4 mm gravity flow cup: 17-19 seconds
Application method
- Gravity flow cup (high-pressure technology): pressure: 2-2.5 bar, nozzle: 1.2-1.3 mm, spray coatings: 1.5, dilution: 0 %
- HVLP (low-pressure technology): pressure: 2-2.2 bar, nozzle: 1.2-1.3 mm, spray coatings: 2, dilution: 0 %
Flash-off time
- 3-5 min between the spray coatings
- 10-15 min before oven drying
- Dry layer thickness: 40-60 μm
Drying time
- 20 °C: dust dry: 15-20 min, touch dry: 1-2 h, assembly ready: 6 h
- 60 °C: touch dry: 15 min
- Short-wave IR drying: touch dry: 8 min
- Medium-wave IR drying: touch dry: 10-15 min
