Seals against moisture and vapour
- Protects against moisture penetration from indoors into the masonry.
- Blocks water and vapour.
- Reduces the risk of moisture-related structural damage.
High-quality and dense
- High-quality material for a permanent seal.
- Flexible material which compensates particularly well for component movements.
- High resistance to UV and weathering for permanent, reliable seals.
- Also suitable for slightly uneven substrates when combined with EPDM sealing tape adhesive.
- Good compatibility with bitumen.
- EPDM indoor sealing tape should be used for indoor seals and EPDM outdoor sealing tape for outdoor seals due to the vapour pressure gradient.
- Please note the print on the tape.
- Tape cannot be plastered over.

- For permanent, reliable sealing of joints indoors, e.g. for window sills, floor-level windows and balcony doors, for exterior door sills, conservatories and façades.
- For internal seals, e.g. for floor elements, thresholds of external doors if the seal comes into contact with screed.
- Substrates must be load-bearing, dry and free of dust and grease.
- We recommend cleaning the elements with a surface cleaner such as Activating Cleaner.
- To install, cut the sealing tape to the desired length, apply SMP EPDM sealing tape adhesive to the substrate and smooth out using a joint knife.
- Prepare a 1 mm thick bed of adhesive.
- Stick the EPDM tape to the substrate.
- Press lightly using a press-on roller.
- Ensure that the tape is not installed under tension.
- When using sealing tape with self-adhesive strips or when sealing components in contact with the ground, the tape must also be secured to the frame/element with a mechanical fixing according to DIN 18533.
