- Sealed with an O-ring (O-rings sold separately)
- Suitable for high pressure systems
- Sealing between two flat surfaces
- Can be reopened and retightened
- Durable connection; resistant to vibration and will not loosen on its own
- No transformations in tightening
- Suitable for very poor working conditions
- You can repair a leaking connection by replacing the O-ring
- Can also be used in pipe connections; a support sleeve is required
