- Suitable for emergency repairs and almost all joints in the roof area.
- Can be used on damp base material - the weather has little effect on the application.
- Adhesion to bituminous base materials.
- Tested suitability for polycarbonate glass and resistant to UV rays.
- Adhesion may be reduced when the product is used in standing water.
- Not suitable for sealing glass.
- Not for use in contact with pre-compressed sealing tapes.
- Seal Flex sealant is not suitable for adhesive bonding or filling cavities.
- Due to the large number of varnish and glazing formulations available, always carry out your own tests on the area first, especially on alkyd resin paints and powder-coated aluminium.
- The transparent colour variant is slightly milky. This may turn whitish when exposed to moisture. The colour becomes transparent again after drying.
- Odourless once fully dry.
- The flash-off time of the solvent may be longer on larger bonded joints and at low temperatures.
- Sufficient ventilation should be ensured during the curing phase.
- A higher coating thickness extends the curing time.
- May result in a permanently tacky surface.

For sealing in sloped and flat roof areas. Seal Flex is suitable for expansion joints and connection joints. No primer is required for adhesion to materials such as wood, concrete, metal, glass and many plastics.
- The surface must be load-bearing, clean, dry and free from grease, rust and water.
- Contact points must be clean and firm before use.
- Store the cartridge at room temperature before application.
- Material loses 25 % volume during curing. Therefore, observe a minimum joint width of 10 mm and leave sufficient material to prevent hollows or material tearing when smoothing.
- In accordance with DIN 18540, the joints must be backfilled with polyethylene cords.
- Porous surfaces should be dry; smooth surfaces can be wet.
- When the joints are exposed to water for longer periods of time, they can turn yellow. The material quality is not affected by this, however.
- The edges of the joint can be masked off, but the adhesive tape must be removed immediately after grouting or smoothing.
- To achieve sufficient adhesion on anodised aluminium, prime the base material using AdhesionPlus primer for plastic/wood/stone (art. no.: 089010062). Adhesion to aluminium is only achieved once the Seal Flex is completely cured. Depending on the thickness applied, this can take several days or up to 2 weeks.
- When sealing the transparent, white and grey colour versions in contact with bitumen, prime the base material using AdhesionPlus primer for plastic/wood/stone (art. no.: 089010062).
