Sealing and insulation in a single step

EMICODE EC1plus: Very low emission – the EMICODE classification system characterises the environmental and health compatibility of construction products. The lowest-emission products bear the EC1plus mark.
- The expansion speed of VKP Trio depends on the temperature.
- Store in a cool location during hot weather.
- Store in a warm location during cold weather.
- Please use VKP PLUS for joints between solid components. We recommend using flexible tape or EPDM outdoor sealing tape in the bottom joint area.
- For tapes with a joint width of 12 to 20 mm and 20 to 30 mm, the tape has two layers, and the self-adhesive area is located on the wavy side (for technical reasons).
- Perform adequate tests when applying paints and sealants.
- No interactions with commercially available plastering mortar.
- The window is secured using spaced installation.
- Façade joints under a heavy load must be sealed with VKP PLUS.
- VKP TRIO is wedge-shaped. The material is thicker on the inside than on the outside. The different levels of compression ensure that a vapour diffusion gradient from inside to outside is achieved in the joint as required by the German RAL quality assurance association for windows and doors.

- Suitable for quality-controlled installation in accordance with the requirements of the German RAL quality assurance association for windows and doors.
- For sealing window joints and door joints, connection joints between conservatories and the main building and other structural connections.
Preparation:
- Clean any loose dirt from the substrates.
- Cut off approx. 2 cm from the beginning and end of the tape.
- Allow approx. 2 cm per metre of extra length when cutting the tape to size.
Installation on windows:
- Remove the protective film from the self-adhesive strip.
- Stick the tape to the window profile.
- Make sure the positioning is correct internally and externally (white label on the inside).
Appearance in the corner area:
- The tape is butt-jointed at the corners and must be compressed longitudinally.
- Leaks must be prevented.
- If available, seal with flexible tape adhesive.
